From Legacy to Lightning
Redesigning an outdated SaaS experience into a vibrant, intuitive platform ready for re-launch.
Qalori™ was a legacy SaaS platform burdened by slow performance, dated interfaces, and low user satisfaction. I led the UX transformation—reimagining workflows, interactions, and visual design to prepare the product for a modern, high-impact relaunch. The result was a faster, more beautiful, and more usable platform that reconnected with its users and reinvigorated its market presence.

In July of 2022, the Qalori™ Product Revitalization Team conducted a series of design sprints to modernize and relaunch a dated enterprise SaaS platform that had lost user trust and momentum. The thesis at the time was that great functionality means little when buried in poor UX—and that trust could be rebuilt through speed, clarity, and delight. We developed a new design system, streamlined feature workflows, and a complete UI overhaul that brought Qalori™ back to life and made it ready for reintroduction to the market.
FRAMING THE PROBLEM
The Problem:
Qalori™ had strong core functionality but was losing users due to its sluggish performance and confusing interface. The product felt dated, clunky, and uninspired—hurting both acquisition and retention.
How Might We
How might we transform a dated, underperforming SaaS product into a modern, intuitive platform that users actually enjoy?
Information Architecture:
After determining core functionality we structured how value will be delivered in a sitemap diagram. This provided a solid foundation to begin prototyping the app.
THE SOLUTION
Meet the New Qalori™
We redesigned Qalori™ from the inside out—introducing a clean, responsive UI, intuitive navigation, and performance-optimized workflows. What was once a source of frustration became a tool users were proud to rely on.
